STEP 1

There are various of reasons why your PayPal account is restricted. Once you have logged into your account, you will see that there is a notification the reasons of your PayPal account being restricted. The following are the possible reasons of this issue:

  • Unauthorized access of your PayPal account
  • Several charge backs and disputes are up against your account.
  • Possible violation on PayPal's Terms and Agreement

STEP 2
Go to www.paypal.com and start logging in your PayPal account. Click the My Account tab and click Resolution Center. PayPal will provide different solutions to the account restriction, but sometimes, it only takes you to provide personal information such as bank account verification or address verification. Scan or fax your statement of account or your personal ID for address verification. Follow the instruction on where to send the information. Then, wait for a few days until the verification is finally completed.
